Waiting list procedure

To add your child onto the waitng list for Crestmead please complete the C&K Waiting List Application form, by using the following link Kindergarten Waiting List form.  Please send these into the Centre or drop by for a visit.

Please advise us if your contact details change. This information will be used to contact you should your child be offered a kindergarten place.

It is C&K policy that we do not disclose where a child is numbered on the wait list or how many children are on that list. 

Enrolment offers are made in the September / October of the year prior to commencement.  These offers are made by the Director of Crestmead Kindergarten.

We are currently taking waitlist forms for the years 2012 to 2016.

Opening hours

Operating hours are from 8:30am to 2:30pm, on a five day fortnight program, (6 hours per day). 

C&K kindergartens are closed on public holidays.

This service does not offer a after kindy care program.

Parents are requested to be at the service to pick their child up five minutes prior to the service closing. If you are late to collect your child a late fees will be incurred. For more information please speak to the Director.

Fee summary

$26 per day for kindergarten aged children.  THis service has a SEIFA subsidy reducing the rate to $20.38 per day.  If you have a Health Care Card you are also eligible for a further reduction in fees - please see your service director for further information.

An enrolment fee must be paid on the enrolment of your child.

Age groupings

Recommended age is 3.5 years to 4.5 years.

Additional information

 C&K Crestmead is a single unit service, running two group within a 5 day per fortnight program.

  • Group A operators Monday, Tuesday every week and every second Wednesday

  • Group B operators Thursday, Friday every week and every second Wednesday

Events

 Family Day BBQ - 9th April 2011

The first Fundraiser of the year, or for that matter, first ever for our Kindergarten! It was a fantastic afternoon with the chidlren arriving with their Families and friends to set up a blanket under the lovely Autumn sun. The day consisted of 3 legged, running and egg and spoon races, an Easter Egg Hunt and a game of Statues. 

It was a great way for the families to meet and it created a wonderful sense of community.

Father's Day Morning Tea - 3rd September 2011

The children had been busy in the Kindergarten during the week baking for our Father's Day morning tea and it was a great success. The children brought their Dad's and special friends along for the  morning.  It was wonderful to see all the Dads playing and the chidlren really enjoyed showing their Kindy off to them.
